The League of Women Voters is a federated membership organization that is proud of its powerful history and meaningful voice. We’re in this together and are delighted to have you join our collective fight for democracy.


Membership: League of Women Voters of Metropolitan Columbus

Join or rejoin and bring a friend! We see your desire to help others exercise their right to vote; to take measurable actions to fight voter suppression; and to advocate for positive local changes—and we would love for you to join us.

Requirements

Membership in the League of Women Voters is open to all who meet the following four requirements:

  1. AGE:16 years of age or above
  2. GENDER:Any gender
  3. RESIDENCY:People living in the USA
    Both U.S. citizens and non-citizens are welcome.

    Most LWVMC members live in Central Ohio. If you live elsewhere, we’re happy to welcome you or direct you to another League closer to your home.
  4. FINANCIAL SUPPORT:
    Pay annual membership dues.
    Recommended: $75; minimum: $20 per year on a sliding scale.
    Those able to give more help others join.
    Additional donation support is welcome.

How to Join Online

League dues are generally paid online through the national LWV Membership Portal. Your dues support the entire League of Women Voters—national, state and local, including LWVMC.
