What's on the Ballot?

Falls Church Voters will be voting for the following State officers:  Governor, Lieutenant Governor, Attorney General, Member of House of Delegates.

Falls Church Voters will also be selecting the following Falls Church City officersCity Council Members (4), School Board Members (4), Sheriff, Commissioner of Revenue, Treasurer.

Key Dates:

September 19 - Early In-Person Voting Begins and continues Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm at City Hall, 300 Park Avenue, Falls Church, VA 22046, except on the Monday, October 13 Federal holiday when the office will be closed.

October 24 - Voter Registration Deadline and Deadline to Request a By-Mail Ballot.  Use the online Virginia Citizen Portal to register to vote, check your registration status, update your current registration, request a by-mail ballot, or find your polling place:  Go to: https://www.elections.virginia.gov/citizen-portal/.  After October 24, unregistered voters may still use "same day voter registration" to vote a provisional ballot which will be counted after their eligibility to vote has been confirmed.

October 25 and November 1 - Saturday Voting 9 am to 5 pm at City Hall.

October 26 - Sunday Voting 12 noon to 3 pm at City Hall.

October 29 - Wednesday Evening Voting until 7 pm at City Hall.

November 1 - Last Day for Early In-Person Voting.

November 4 - Election Day.  Vote at your assigned polling place 6 am to 7 pm.

JOIN OUR LEAGUE!

The League of Women Voters is a nonpartisan organization dedicated to promoting democracy and voting rights at the national, state and local levels. When you join the League, you support advocacy at all three levels.  Locally, the Falls Church League holds voter registration drives, issues a voter's guide to local elections, holds forums so that voters can learn about candidates for local offices, and sponsors educational programs on important local issues. We issue a newsletter several times a month to keep our members informed about our programs and volunteer opportunities with the League.  Membership is open to individuals of all ages, regardless of gender.

How to Join:  

Starting in February 2025, The League of Women Voters is introducing a new centralized portal for joining the League.  Individuals all across the country will use this same portal to join the League.  Each new member automatically becomes a member of the national League and their state League and will be able to select the local League in which they would like to participate.
