Candidates and Issues

Voter Information Bulletin and Vote 411

For nine decades, voters have trusted the League of Women Voters to provide nonpartisan information about candidates and issues on the ballot. Our mission is to help you be an informed voter. Unlike other sources, the League does not present information favoring one party or the other. We do not endorse candidates. We simply give you the tools to make an educated decision on your own.

In our Voter Information Bulletin, available at Vote411.org, and published prior to each general and primary election, the League gives you the candidates’ answers to pressing public policy questions in their own words. We also translate complex ballot measures into straightforward language and supply “pro” and “con” arguments for major issues.

Meet the Candidates Forums

Working with other nonprofits, civic associations, religious organizations, business groups, and the media, the League of Women Voters  hosts forums across central Ohio where voters can hear directly from candidates running for office at the regional and local levels.
