To do more, participate in many satisfying nonpartisan local, state, and national League efforts—and receive exclusive civic information you can trust. The planning and coordination of these activities happens in our LWVMC committees:
Voter Services:We empower voters where they work, live, learn, and play. We help folks take the first step to become lifelong voters—educating about registration, researching candidates and issues, voting procedures, elected roles, and local engagement.
Advocacy and Education (A&E):We advocate on League positions, observe local government, prepare educational programs for the public, and conduct position studies on important local issues.
Development:We lead fundraising efforts and donor development, including the League's annualDemocracy in Actionevent.
Membership:We grow and support our member base to ensure we can continue empowering voters and defending democracy.
Communications:We manage internal and external League communications, including technology support.
