Gear Up for the 2023 Legislative Session

Learn about what's expected in the upcoming legislative session on the League's key issues from our lobbyist, legislators, and Advocacy Team. The agenda will include the following items:

• Legislative forecast from the LWVWA's contract lobbyist
• Panel discussion with elected state legislators
• Breakout groups focused on the League's key issues: Democracy, Natural Resources, Housing and Homelessness (including Growth Management), Redistricting, Climate Change, Children's Issues and Education, Criminal Justice, Health and Behavior Health Care, and Revenue
• Engaging with the Lobby Team: Supporting legislation, the role of local League Action Chairs, weekly ACT programs, Legislative Newsletter, and Issue Pages
• Training session on tracking the legislative process
