Program Topic:  Why College? A year after graduation, only 31% of Shelton School District Graduates are attending college, compared to 65% of graduates from the neighboring Olympia School District.  Yet, nearly 70% of family wage jobs in Washington require a post secondary education.  What can be done?  Is college still relevant for our Shelton youth?  Are they prepared?  What about the disheartening thought of student debt?
