The League of Women Voters of the United States signed onto a July 26, 2022, letter to President Biden urging bold actions to protect the right to abortion and ensure accessibility for all Americans, including declaring a national public health emergency. The letter concludes with a call to President Biden “to live up to your commitments to advance gender equality and equity globally."
