Santa Clara County Civil Grand Jury
The Santa Clara County Civil Grand Jury (CGI) investigates the operations of the various officers, departments, and agencies of local government, and is responsible for three main functions:
- Civil Watchdog Agency
- Reviewing Resident Complaints
- Filing Accusations
This is NOT like regular jury duity, where the jurors are sort of "drafted" from the county Voter list. The members of this jury are self selected (you have to apply for this - see Application Form).
