A few reminders from the Alachuia County Supervisor of Elections:
"The November 3 General Election will be here before we know it. Being prepared is one of the most important steps we can take to make our voices count. Save these key election dates so you are ready to register to vote, request a mail ballot, vote early, return your mail ballot by the deadline, and show up to vote on Election Day.
October 5 – Last Day to Register to Vote
October 19 – First Day of Early Voting, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
October 22 by 5 p.m. – Last Day to Request Your Mail Ballot
November 1 – Last Day of Early Voting, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
November 3 by 7 p.m. – Deadline to Return Your Mail Ballot
November 3 – Election Day, Polls Open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Don’t wait until the last minute. Make your voting plan now and share these important dates with others!"
