LWV of Alachua County is joining LWVFL in supporting the Florida Right to Clean Water campaign (RTCW), which is a constitutional amendment to clarify our priorities and a civil action to enforce our right to clean and healthy waters. The mission is to take this to Florida's voters; to educate them, to collect their petitions, and to ensure their voice is heard.

At the Grow Hub Spring Pop-Up, some volunteers will man the LWVAC table, register voters (training required), and answer voter questions while others will circulate through the crowd with RTCW petitions. Please contact vote [at] lwv-alachua.org (Voter Services) to volunteer. 

The Grow Hub Spring Pop-Up is a free family fun pop up event. It’s the final pop up for the spring! There will be plants, arts and crafts vendors, bluegrass, and a food truck. GROW HUB is a non-profit plant nursery supporting the lives of adults living with disabilities.

Even if you don't volunteer with LWVAC, it will be a fun event for a good cause.
