Our speakers are Barry Jacobson, co-founder of local solar design and installation company Solar Impact, and Carla Lewis, Neighborhood Revitalization Coordinator for Alachua Habitat for Humanity. Both serve as volunteers on the City of Gainesville Utility Advisory Board and strongly support the City’s commitment to reduce carbon emissions and use 100% renewable energy. Barry talks about the actions GRU has taken and their plans for the future. Carla discusses community engagement plans and how you can help. A question-and-answer session follows each presentation.
