The League of Women Voters of the Lewis Clark Valley is planning a Clarkston School Board candidate event on Tuesday, September 26, 2023, at 7:00 p.m. at Walla Walla Community College.
Candidates to represent area #1 and #5 have committed to attend. While candidates file to represent an area, all registered voters are able to vote to select candidates in all areas.
The League of Women Voters invites citizens of the School District to hear from the candidates and have the opportunity to ask questions. The League is a non-partisan political organization which encourages all citizens to register and vote.
Ballots for the Clarkston School Board election will be mailed to registered voters in the Clarkston School District in mid-October. Election Day is November 7, 2023. Ballots must be placed in one of three ballot drop boxes, or postmarked November 7, 2023, to be counted in this election.
Washington residents who need to register to vote may do so online, or visit the Asotin County Auditor’s office at the Asotin County Courthouse, at 135 2nd Street, Asotin, WA. Their office hours are 8:00 am—5:00 pm Monday-Thursday, and 8:00 am—4:00 pm on Fridays.
