The League of Women Voters is a nonpartisan grassroots organization that has fought since 1920 to empower voters and defend democracy.
Our origins were in the suffrage movement and we are still marching for these principles today.
The League promotes open, responsive government in Idaho and encourages active voter and informed participation in public decision-making. We are passionate about educating and informing voters, but we need your support!Every year volunteer Idaho League members bring non-partisan candidate forums and voter guides to our communities. LWV of Idaho members also work to register voters throughout the state.
- Last year we met our goal of $1,700 allowing us to offer Vote411.org voter guides for every statewide and Idaho legislative race in 2022. Help us continue that coverage into the 2023 elections. We need to raise $2,500 this year to keep that momentum into our local election cycle! Our volunteers do the work, the funds pay for our online election guide and outreach efforts.
- In order to reach our goal of $2,500, we need just $10 from 250 people.
- Help bring Vote411.org to more communities in our state for the 2023 November election.
The League believes in Idaho voters’ ability to make decisions when they have good information. The League is committed to providing that information with Vote411, candidate forums, and our partnership with Idaho Debates.
