VIRTUAL “Funding Education for Idaho’s Future” Symposium

VIRTUAL “Funding Education for Idaho’s Future” Symposium

education symposium
Saturday, August 8, 2020 - 9:00am to Sunday, August 9, 2020 - 8:45am

In partnership, TOADS and RISE Treasure Valley Education Partners (https://risetvep.org/) are excited to offer a virtual symposium focused on the funding for education in the state of Idaho. This statewide symposium will be held, via a Zoom platform, on August 8, 2020 from 9:00-11:45am MDT -- it’s called “Is Education in Idaho in Fiscal Peril?” and we want you to be there!

What is the symposium about?
The funding of education in Idaho has been disgracefully deficient for many years, ranking public education in the state between 47th and 51st in the nation. This virtual symposium is the kick-off to a multi-year endeavor to advocate for adequate funding for Idaho’s public education system.

How can I attend?
Plan now to join this VIRTUAL state-wide symposium! You can access the event from the following link:
https://us02web.zoom.us/j/83548885661?pwd=TVAyUkFlYlZCZjJUN3RIUzJkZVN0Zz09
(Password if called for: “schools”).
You may want to log into the system, beforehand, to make sure everything is operating correctly. Towards the end of the event there will be an opportunity to not only ask questions but also interact with fellow educators, state leaders, and community members.

NOTE: Attendance is limited to 300 participants – sign in early to the provided link to ensure your spot!
