The Consolidated Election is Tueday, April 1, 2025. Be an informed voter! Discover useful information to prepare for your trip to the polls by clicking on the links below.
 
Key Dates for Voters 
Thursday, January 2, 2025: This is the first day to request vote-by-mail ballots online, in person, or by mail. Click here to request a VBM ballot. 
 
Sunday, January 26, 2025: This is the day of the LWV Elmhurst Candidate Forum; we will cover races in Elmhurst for aldermen, mayor, and the local Board of Education from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Elmhurst City Hall. 
 
Thursday, February 20, 2025: This is the first day for the DuPage County Election Commission to send a VBM ballot to voters who requested one. It is also the first day of in-person voter registration and early voting at the DuPage County Fairgrounds and a few other sites throughout DuPage County. Click here for details.
 
Tuesday, March 4, 2025: This is the last day for in-person voter registration.
 
Sunday, March 16, 2025: This is the last day for online voter registration. 
 
Monday, March 17, 2025: All early voting locations open throughout DuPage County.
 
Monday, March 23, 2025: This is the last day for voters serving in the U.S. military (and their family members) and/or any voter residing outside the United States to apply for an absentee ballot. 
 
Thursday, March 27, 2025: This is the last day for the DuPage County Election Commission to receive VBM applications.
 
Monday, March 31, 2025: This is the last day for early voting.
 
Tuesday, April 1, 2025: ELECTION DAY! Vote in person from 6:00 AM to 7:00 PM; click here to verify your polling location.
