Contact Kansas Senators today!
Email or call the members of the Senate Federal and State Affairs Committee for today's hearing at 1 p.m., or all Senators, for the vote on the Senate floor could happen as soon as Monday, March 29.
Tell them to stop creating and voting on bills that can suppress voting. They have already passed through the committee several suppression tactics in HB2183 and HB2339.
Included in these bills are restrictions on who can return advance ballots, allowing one person to return only five. They also approved reducing early voting from 20 days before an election to 15.
SB307 will be heard today in the Senate Federal and State Affairs Committee and would eliminate the three-day leeway for ballots to be received after election day – reducing possible days from 23 to only 15 for a ballot to get from the election office, to the voter, and back to the office.
