The League of Women Voters (LWV) is a non-partisan organization. We adopt public policy positions and use them to inspire action at the national, state, and local levels. The LWV is committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion. Learn more here.

The League of Women Voters of Manhattan-Riley County encourages individuals, organizations, and institutions in our community to pursue community engagement and action that fosters diversity, equity, and inclusion. We support efforts by the USD383 school district to ensure our schools are supportive of all who participate in public education.

Inclusivity requires us to consider all viewpoints, especially those that challenge our own perspectives. Let’s live up to our reputation as a friendly, welcoming community. Join us as we listen to understand every perspective, act on what we learn, and nurture a community that is diverse, equitable, and inclusive.

Sincerely,

Barbara Anderson
