(Event change, Mr. Vargo will join us in person at Meadowlark.) We are excited to announce an opportunity to learn about how the new Kansas voting laws will affect you in the upcoming election cycle. 

Please join us either in person or virtually (by Zoom) on Monday, October 11. 

Riley County Clerk Rich Vargo join us to  address the recent voting law changes in Kansas and their impact on voter registration and voting activities in the upcoming election in Kansas.

You may join us for dinner at 6 pm at the Meadowlark Event Center or virtually through Zoom at 6:30 for the presentation by Mr. Vargo. There should be time for the audience to ask questions of Mr. Vargo.

This is a special joint meeting with League of Women Voters and American Association of University Women. This meeting will take the place of the October Dinner With League. 

Gather at 6:00 for dinner, if you are coming in person. Around 6:30, Mr. Vargo will present. His presentation will be broadcase by Zoom by AAUW-Manhattan Branch. You may choose to join us by Zoom or attend the presentation at no cost.  (You may request a link prior to the event up to Monday 5:00 at  at lwv.manhattanks [at] gmail.com.

If you choose to dine, the cost of the dinner is $13, payable at the door.

Jasmine rice

Carrot raisin slaw

Sauteed snow peas

Dinner rolls

If you prefer to participate via Zoom, that is an option.  The Zoom link will open at 6:30 and will be live through the speaker's remarks and the subsequent question and answer session.
