Poll Workers still needed for Aug 4 primary election. Help recruit - share the word.

Voters registered in Michigan can serve anywhere in Michigan and 16 and 17 year-olds can also serve. Poll workers receive training and get paid for their work.
In addition to Detroit, the following cities are still in need of poll workers for the August primary: Flint, Dearborn Heights, Pontiac, Southfield, Ypsilanti (City), Burton City, Portage City, and Comstock Township
Without an adequate number of poll workers, voters will be at risk of being disenfranchised.  For more information see https://www.michiganvoting.org/be-a-poll-worker.

Concerned about safety? Here is guidance released by Secretary of State about the August 4, 2020 Election Polling Place Safety and Accessibility.
