“Elections, Justice and the Rule of Law: A Conversation with Barbara McQuade”
Barbara L. McQuade is a law professor at the University of Michigan, where she teaches criminal law, criminal procedure and national security law. She is also a legal analyst for NBC News and MSNBC. Appointed by President Barack Obama, Ms. McQuade served as the U.S Attorney for the Eastern District of Michigan from 2010 to 2017, the first woman to serve in that position. Ms. McQuade also served in the Obama administration as vice chair of the Attorney General’s Advisory Committee and co-chair of the Terrorism and National Security Subcommittee.
