League member, Rosemarie Halt, long insisted that DELCO required its own public health department. She led the advocacy on behalf of LWV-CDC for decades. Recently, she was appointed by County Council to assist in the emergency response to COVID-19 and steward the formation of a county-wide health department. 
 
Come learn first-hand about the current status of the County's response to this pandemic and what the future holds regarding the establishment of a modern, nimble and locally controlled health department for Delaware County.
