Education Fund

We make voting easier through varied voter education programs.

The League of Women Voters Education Fund conducts voter service and citizen education activities. It is a nonpartisan nonprofit public policy educational organization, which: 

  • Builds citizen participation in the democratic process.
  • Studies key community issues at all government levels in an unbiased manner.
  • Enables people to seek positive solutions to public policy issues through education and conflict management.

Donations to the Education Fund, a 501(c)(3)corporation, are fully tax-deductible where allowed by law.

LWV Unite & Rise Voting Rights Rally - Video & News Article

The League of Women Voters of Delaware County sponsored a Unite & Rise for Voting Rights rally highlighting Anna Howard Shaw on the courthouse steps in Media, PA on August 08, 2026.

Other participating organizations: America 250 PA/Delco, Delco Indivisible, Girl Scouts of America, Marian Anderson Museum and Historical Society, NAACP of Media, PA Youth Vote, and Elected Officials.

LWV Unite & Rise National Day of Action Get-Out-The-Vote (GOTV) - August 8, 2026 (LWV CDC) 

This event focused on the Voting Rights Act 1965 & Civil Rights and was an opportunity to:

● Honor the legacy of the Voting Rights Act 

● Highlight ongoing barriers to participation (Unite & Rise 8.5) 

● Engage communities in civic life 

● Strengthen long-term organizing capacity

The League of Women Voters of Central Delaware County gathered to write postcards to help Get-Out-The-Vote (GOTV) for the 2026 mid-term election.
