Since 2020, the League of Women Voters has partnered with Power the Polls to recruit poll workers. As Leagues prepare for upcoming local elections and gear up for a busy election season, it is critical to recruit poll workers to ensure safe, free, and fair elections for all voters.
We recognized National Poll Worker Recruitment Day on August 11, 2026 as a day of action established by the US Election Assistance Commission (EAC) to encourage people to sign up to be poll workers and help ensure free and fair elections. But considering being a poll worker is ongoing.
