What to know before you go!
Voters should prepare by:
- Making sure you are registered to vote, and your address is up-to-date
- Reviewing your SAMPLE BALLOT at SCVotes.gov
- Comparing candidates on your ballot at VOTE411.org
- Bringing your Photo ID
- Checking your polling place at SCVotes.gov before going to the polls.
- Voting Early In-Person at 1 of multiple locations around the county - No excuse needed
- Re-Applying for Mail-In Absentee Voting if needed
- All registered voters can apply to vote by Mail if 1 of 8 reasons are met
When voting In Person (using the voting machines), check and re-check your printed ballot card to make sure it reflects each of your intended votes.
