To help, the League of Women Voters of Marin and Sonoma Counties has produced a series of short, nonpartisan videos breaking down each proposition in plain language: what it would do, who supports and opposes it, and what a "yes" or "no" vote means in practice. Recommendations on League positions are developed through study and member consensus. The LWVC Board of Directors carefully reviews each measure before taking a position.

It's August and our Get Out the Vote efforts for the Midterm elections on Nov. 3 are just getting started. You'll see two of Nevada County's local buses around town with our beautiful new ads encouraging residents to prepare to vote.
