Richard Seamon will discuss the "Legal Aspects of the 5G Rollout" at the League of Women Voters of Moscow forum noon-1 p.m. Wednesday (Feb. 26) in the Arts Workshop of the 1912 Center, 412 E. Third St., Moscow.
The current rollout of the 5G network raises multiple legal questions, and this talk will give an overview of them. Legal questions arise at every level of the legal system, implicating concerns at the local, state, federal, and international legal systems. The rollout also raises issues of constitutional law, especially ones involving the respective powers of the states and the federal government.
Seamon is the Margaret Schimke Distinguished Professor of Law at the University of Idaho College of Law, where he has taught since 2004. He teaches, among other subjects, administrative law and constitutional law.
