In 2021 Tina Barton was appointed as a Senior Program Advisor  for the U. S. Election Assistance Commission.

In 2019, Ms. Barton joined the Michigan Secretary of State’s Election Security Commission.

Ms. Barton is the former clerk for the City of Rochester Hills and currently serves on the board of directors for Leadership Oakland.

Ms. Barton also serves on the Women of Tomorrow Speakers Bureau and is a mentor as well as a member of Crossroads for Youth.
