One Health: what does public health have to do with it?”, Maureen Lichtveld, University of Pittsburgh.  One Health is a multi-disciplinary approach that works locally, regionally, nationally, and globally to attain optimal well-being for people and society, the environment and plants, and animals.  The One Health Seminar Series brings speakers to campus to address a variety of One Health-related topic. February 22, 10:00 am - 1:00 pm.  EmpowerED: Building Conscious Student Citizens and Empowering Parents.  NAACP Bucks, in partnership with The Legal Kid Foundation and the Education Law Center, presents a free workshop on empowering students and parents.  This Workshop is for all parents, guardians, and advocates of K-12 students who are interested in receiving tools and know your rights resources.  Registration is required for all to attend.  Parental permission is required for students in grade 5-8 to attend.  Register here.

Community Immigration Forum.  The Doylestown Borough Human Relations Commission (HRC) invites you to an engaging and interactive forum addressing the realities faced by our immigrant community. This community discussion will feature a panel of experts from the Bucks County Peace Center, Immigrant Rights Action, The League of Women Voters, the Doylestown area FISH, and a local language educator, providing valuable insights and fostering meaningful dialogue.  Join us to better understand the immigrant community, explore the obstacles they encounter, and discover ways to offer support. All are welcome!
