Membership in the League of Women Voters, the most respected and effective grassroots organization in the country, is open to people 16 years of age and older. Our members make a visible difference by serving as community leaders using their experience to create positive, lasting change in our communities.  To learn about the benefits of League membership CLICK HERE.  
 
When you join the League of Women Voters of Bucks County (LWVBC), you are also joining the national and state leagues.  Your annual dues payment will be shared with 33% of your dues payment going to national, 47% going to Pennsylvania, and 20% going to our local Bucks County League. 
 
To join the League, click the Join/Renew button below to access the League of Women Voters Membership portal, known as ChapterSpot.  The Join/Renew process is explained in this video.

Membership Dues:
  • Individual members: $75 per year is the recommended amount, or pay what you can ($20 minimum).
  • You can add a second member ($150 total for both recommended, $40 for both minimum), but they each will need to provide a unique email address.
  • Life members: In appreciation of their dedication to democracy, Life Members (members for more than 50 years) are exempt from membership dues.

Dues are paid annually, renewable on your Join Date anniversary date each year.

Making Donations:

Do you want to make an extra donation in addition to paying your dues? Thanks - we appreciate it!
  • You will have the option to make a direct donation to League of Women of Bucks County on ChapterSpot when paying your dues, or you can donate directly to us on the Donate page on our website. (If you want 100% of your donation to go to our local Bucks County League, do not choose to pay more than the $75 recommended dues amount. Instead, make a direct donation to LWV of Bucks County.)

Membership Renewals

You will receive an email reminder to renew one year after your last renewal, with a link to ChapterSpot. On ChapterSpotl you can: 
  • Pay your annual dues.
  • Set up automatic renewals.
  • Update your contact information. 

If you have signed up for auto-renew, you will get a reminder that your membership is automatically renewing.
