Absentee ballots are available September 22-October 30. Request one from elections.virginia.gov or get one from the Office of Voter Registration (in Montgomery County, 755 Roanoke St, Ste. 1F, Christiansburg). Return the ballot by mail or in person at the Office of Voter Registration in the county where you are registered to vote by 7 pm on Election Day. If you are mailing your ballot, do so in plenty of time—like a week in advance of the due date. You cannot turn in an absentee ballot locally for another district.
