Voter Registration

- Both sites: Weekdays, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m., and Saturdays, October 26 and November 2, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Absentee Voting
- October 25, 2024: Deadline for applying for a mail ballot at elections.virginia.gov or at the Registrar’s Office at 1546 North Franklin Street, Christiansburg, VA 24073. Ballot must be postmarked on Election Day, November 5, 2024, or taken to the Registrar’s Office or your polling place on Election Day.
Election Day
- November 5, 2024: Election Day, vote in person from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. You can also register to vote when you vote on Election Day with a provisional ballot.
Voter ID
- You will need to present an acceptable form of ID, such as a Virginia driver’s license, at the polls. See the full list of acceptable IDs here or at elections.virginia.gov.
