  • U. S. Senate, Virginia: Hung Cao (R). Timothy M. Kaine (D) (incumbent).
  • U.S. House of Representatives, VA 9th District: Karen G. H. Baker (D). H. Morgan Griffith (R) (incumbent).
  • Ballot Initiative: Virginia Property Tax Exemption for Veterans and Surviving Spouses Amendment (2024). A "YES" vote supports amending language in the Virginia Constitution regarding property tax exemptions for veterans and surviving spouses to say died in the line of duty rather than killed in action. A "NO" vote opposes amending language in the Virginia Constitution regarding property tax exemptions for veterans and surviving spouses to say died in the line of duty, and would keep the phrase killed in action.

Voter Registration

  • October 15, 2024: Last day to register to vote or update your address before the election.   • November 5, 2024: Election Day, vote in person from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. You can also register to vote when you vote on Election Day with a provisional ballot.

Find your polling site by going to elections.virginia.gov or VOTE411 or by checking your voter registration card.  Remember that redistricting in 2021 changed many voting districts and polling sites.
