The We Stand Strong Rally: Solidarity with our Workers will be held on Saturday, May 3rd, 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM in front of the Delaware County Courthouse, 201 W. Front Street, Media. Workers, parents, community members, students, and working families are coming together to raise their voices for better, safer, and stronger communities across the country.
We deserve places that center the needs of working families, neighborhood public schools, affordable housing and access to high-quality healthcare. Join in helping to build a vision for an economy that works for the many not just for oligarchs.
This rally is organized by Delco Indivisible. Rally attendees are encouraged to bring donations for the Media Food Bank to support our neighbors who have lost their jobs in this horrible climate for labor. Donations include non-perishable food and personal care such as; canned fish, canned meat, peanut butter, rice, pasta and sauces, shelf-stable milk, mac and cheese, spices, canned fruit and vegetables, diapers (adult and baby), pads, toothpaste and toothbrushes, soaps, deodorant, etc.
The League of Women Voters of Central Delaware County will provide voter information and voter registration services.
