We are in the midst of health insurance open enrollment season. 

FOR THOSE 65 AND OLDER, Medicare open enrollment goes through December 7.

FOR THOSE UNDER 65 WITHOUT EMPLOYER-PROVIDED INSURANCE COVERAGE, THE ACA MARKETPLACE open enrollment goes through January 15, though for coverage to start January 1, 2026, you will need to be enrolled by December 15. 

This open enrollment period is a critical one. There's still a lot we don't know, but all plans are likely to be more expensive this year - how much is determined plan by plan and Congress is debating possible reductions so be sure to gather information now and stay informed before choosing a plan. Also fewer Medicare Plan D drug plans are available in our area this year.
