The League of Women Voters of Oxford joins Payne Chapel AME Church Hamilton Social Action Committee, Oxford NAACP, and Oxford Citizens for Peace & Justice in holding a public meeting on Political Participation & Why It Matters (Civics 103). 

The event speaker will be Eric Corbin, Deputy Director of the Butler County Board of Elections. 

Topics will include election security, voter information, primary elections, and understanding the voting process. 

The League of Women Voters, a nonpartisan political organization, encourages informed and active participation in government, works to increase understanding of major public policy issues, and influences public policy through education and advocacy.
