Kudos to our 2024 Fall Voter Service! The 2025 Spring Special District Election is right
around the corner and your help will be needed, just email voterservice [at] lwvclackamas.org
to help out in your community or from home. Many thanks from our League and community
to:
Meg Thompson for the multi-county forum and TV interview coordination and
communication, plus now working on connecting Leagues to Girl Scouts
Teri Danielson for coordinating Stumptown Coffee locations and working voter registration
with some of the best cappuccino ever
Lindsay Riley and Teri Danielson for Vote411 phone calls to candidates, county recorders
and election clerks, writing and data update to make the platform more complete for Oregon,
plus writing letters to the editor
Karen Sterk, Teri Cummings, Claire Vaeth and Teri Danielson for voter registration
(VR) in upcoming USCIS naturalization ceremonies in November and December to register
brand new citizens to vote, which is absolutely the best (and most fun!) VR experience. with
two additional slots available on Friday, December 13 for any interested Leaguers
Gayle Saxton, Judi Umaki and Marge Easley for serving on our League’s Speakers
Bureau to provide non-partisan information on statewide ballot measures to various
community groups and League members
Tallulah Sprague for her Vote411 radio ad as a FIRST-TIME VOTER heard on the
airwaves in some eastern and southern markets
Ellen Pierson, Mike Taylor, Janet Brumbaugh and Claire Vaeth for valiant Voters'
Guide delivery to the near and remote corners of the County with hours on the road, raising
awareness for our League and offering all of our voters truly nonpartisan resources
Marge Easley and Diana DeMaria dropped off small coffee gift cards from our League
with a signed Election Hero Day Card. Their tour included watching ballots received to
every table with sworn election teams doing their duty with integrity, transparency and
dedication. Thank you to Clerk Catherine McMullen, her staff and volunteers!
