Our guest speaker will be Rep. Rachel Prusak, who has represented Oregon House District 37 (West Linn, Durham, Rivergrove, Tualatin, and Stafford) since 2018. A nurse practitioner and former Boston native, she served as the chair of the House Health Care Committee for the last two sessions and has been a champion for gun violence prevention. Rep. Prusak is one of three female legislators who recently announced they would not run for re-election due to the low salary and heavy demands of public office, careers, and motherhood.
