The next meeting will be February 4 at 1:30 at the Pepin Building in Mary’s Woods.  Please, note the time change.  The book chosen for this meeting is Everyone Who Is Gone is Here, by Jonathan Blitzer.  This book was recommended by our newest member, Sue McWilliams.  It is on the NYT 10 Best Books of 2024 list.  The subtitle is The United States, Central America and the Making of a Crisis.  Blitzer has a lot to say about the history of the immigration crisis — timely indeed
