The Human Rights Special Interest Group (HRSIG) and the National Council of Jewish Women, San Francisco are presenting a free, virtual session of storytelling and discussion about women’s achievements and challenges in pushing back against deeply ingrained societal norms, misinformation and deflection.  This presentation is part of the 2023 United Nations Commission on the Status of Women NGO Forum.  The LWV is a NGO.  Bucks County League of Women Voters member Savanna Mapelli, is one of the founders of the HRSIG and has represented LWV as a delegate to the yearly Commission on the Status of Women.
