Remember to Vote: Tips for Election Day November 5, 2024

Polls open at 7:00 AM and Close 8:00 PM.

Polling Place: Check Vote411.org of vote.pa.gov if you are not sure where your polling place is. When you check in at any polling place, the electronic poll book will tell you where your polling place is and print a ticket to turn into the correct precinct.

Mail Ballot: If you asked for but did not receive a mail ballot or if you discarded it, You can still vote provisionally at your polling place. The judge of elections will help you prepare a provisional ballot that will be counted after election day if your mail ballot is not received.

Voting on Election Day: If you received but did not return a mail ballot, you can take that ballot and the return envelope to your polling place, remit them and receive a regular ballot to vote. You will not have to vote provisionally as long as you remit the mail ballot, filled in or not. That ballot will be destroyed.

First Time at Your Polling Place: You will have to show identification. It does not have to be a photo ID. Your green registration card from the Election Bureau is acceptable.

Designated "Inactive": If you are designated as "inactive" in the poll book because you haven't voted in a long time, you will also have to show ID.
