The League of Women Voters of Delaware County* is presenting a three-part program on Running  for Local Office in preparation for the 2025 municipal election season

The first of the series Toss Your Hat in the Ring will be held on Thursday, January 9, 2025 at 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM via Zoom. This presentation will give an overview of what you need to know about becoming an elected official.

Items to be shared include information on Local Offices, Filing Petitions, Campaign Finances, etc. The presenter Jamie Mogil, Esq. is well known as an election expert and voting rights advocate  and President of the League of Women Voters of Lower Merion/Narberth.

Part 2 - How to Run for School Board - Wednesday, January 15, 2025 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM via Zoom. This webinar is being conducted through the PA School Board Association. Part 3 - Meet the Winners  - Thursday, January 23, 2025 7:00 PM In-Person at the Inn at Swarthmore, 10 S Chester Rd, Swarthmore, PA 19081. Hear from present or former elected officials on their experience with running for office and serving as a local elected official. A question and answer session will follow the presentation.
