The City of Pleasant Hill will move from at-large to by-district elections for the November 2024 election, and is in the process of holding hearings to learn what residents think about the proposed district maps. The next hearing will be Monday, June 5, 2023. The League of Women Voters of Diablo Valley is offering one-hour Zoom Forums to educate Pleasant Hill residents about how to engage in the districting process, with time for Q & A.

In January, the City of Pleasant Hill received notice of an impending lawsuit should the City continue its at-large election process for city council members. Community members and LWVDV are planning to participate in the Pleasant Hill decision process. Two Zoom meetings are scheduled for February to inform community members, on February 18 and February 23.
