Join the League of Women Voters in Richmond to lobby the Virginia General Assembly
Every year, the League of Women Voters travels to Richmond to lobby the Virginia General Assembly. This year, if you wish to join us, register online below, and contact us about ride sharing and lodging options. The agenda will include a number of events on the day, as well as events prior to Lobby Day.

Reception for Members of the Virginia General Assembly: February 10, 2026, 6 pm, Delta Marriott Hotel, 555 East Canal Street, Richmond, VA.
Lobby Day
On Lobby Day, February 11, 2026, we will attend pre-arranged appointments to talk with our delegates and senators, attend a meeting of the Virginia General Assembly, and attend committee meetings. Register here.
Issue groups
Throughout the General Assembly (Jan 14-Mar 16), Issues Groups will follow the legislation by topic and will identify bills to support or oppose. Some members of Issues Groups will testify on the following issues:
