LWV will host a booth at Blacksburg’s Steppin’ Out Festival, Aug 7 and 8, 2026. We expect to talk to voters about the November General Election and the three amendments on the ballot as well as register voters. We will also provide information on our fall forum on the three amendments. Please sign up to help staff the booth HERE.

Voter Registration Training

At least one person at the Steppin’ Out booth for each time slot will need to be certified in voter registration. Training is good for one year. Even if you completed it last year, you need to complete it again after July 1, 2026.
You can complete the training in one of three ways:

1. In person: September 1, 2026, 2:00 pm, Government Center, 755 Roanoke St, Christiansburg; someone from the Office of Elections will lead this training. (Note the date change.)
2. Online with an instructor: See the password and sign-up links HERE.
