You are invited to attend 3rd Party Voter Registration Drive Training offered by the City of Virginia Beach Voter Registration & Elections office!

Training will be offered on the following dates:

1. Tuesday, July 30, 2019 at 2:30 pm

OR

2. Wednesday, July 31, 2019 at 2:30 pm

Each class will last 1.5 – 2 hours. Both classes will be held at 2449 Princess Anne Road, Municipal Center Building 14, in the 2nd floor, Conference Room, Virginia Beach, Virginia 23456. Register by sending an email with your name(s), preferred class time, and contact information to voter [at] vbgov.com.

If need to renew your certification before the training feel free to do so online. This training is open to the public.

Sharon Shoff, Housing Finance Coordinator with the City of Virginia Beach Department of Housing & Neighborhood Preservation will talk about the factors that affect our region’s housing market.

Shoff is a graduate of James Madison University with a Masters of Urban and Regional Planning from Virginia Tech. For 22 years, she worked for a non-profit in Virginia Beach that provides affordable housing to families, veterans, and persons with disabilities before coming to work at the City of Virginia Beach, where she is focused on facilitating the development of affordable housing in the City. If gentrification, eviction rates, and persistent housing disparities concern you, plan to attend.
