The League of Women Voters (LWV) is regarded as one of the most effective, non-partisan, grassroots organizations in the country. Our members make a visible difference by serving as community leaders to create positive, lasting change in our communities. Who Can Join?
Everyone is welcome! Membership in the League of Women Voters is open to anyone 16 years or older.

What are the benefits of membership?
When you become a League member, your dues will connect you with a network of grassroots leaders at the local, state, AND national levels. When you join the League of Women Voters of Diablo Valley, you are also joining the League of Women Voters of the Bay Area, the League of Women Voters of California and the League of Women Voters of the United States! A major portion of your annual dues goes to each of these organizations.

How much time commitment does membership require?
It's up to you! Many members choose to support the League only with their annual dues. Your membership alone gives us the political influence needed to build a voice for citizens and a force for change. We cover a broad spectrum of issues and participate in a wide variety of activities. You may choose to become actively involved in one or more of our committees or projects, depending on your time and interests.
