LWVDV Action-Advocacy Committee members met (on Zoom) with local legislators to tell them about the League, ask questions, and learn about their priorities. In January and early February, twenty-two (22) LWVDV members participated in Legislative interviews with the following local legislators and/or their representatives.(Click the links to view the interiew notes.)

The LWVC requested that we ask specific questions about climate, affordable housing and zoning, and equitable recovery from the pandemic. Additionally, LWVC wants to know about the legislators’ personal priorities. LWVC will use this information in its lobbying efforts for the 2021-22 Legislative Session.

LWVDV cooperated with other Leagues (Napa, Solano, Woodland, Davis Area, and Sonoma) when we shared legislators. Members who participated learned about the issues and the legislators, and shared information in preparation for the interviews.
