Approximately 40 attendees, including Brownies and Girl Scouts, attended the 19th Amendment Anniversary Party on August 24 in Concord. After a very informative talk by LWVDV Vice President Shawn Gilbert, the group celebrated with cake, sparkling cider and photos with our very own suffragette representative, "Margaret Ruth" (photo above shows Shawn Gilbert and Arlynda Huerta with "Margaret Ruth", photo credit to Karen Dolder).
