YOU get to choose the date for the next orientation and whether you want to meet in person or via Zoom. We provide orientations at least once per quarter so newer members and their guests can learn about the League‘s history, mission, current priorities, and how to get involved. 
 
Please check your calendars to see whether you prefer Saturday, January 20 or Saturday, January 27 from 10:30 to noon. The location is TBD but will be centrally located in the county (e.g., the Concord or Ygnacio Valley libraries). We will serve coffee and bagels if we meet in person, OR we can meet in the comfort of your own home via Zoom.
 
Please email your preferred date and venue to Cathleen Kirk at membership [at] lwvdv.org no later than Thursday, January 11, and she’ll get back to you with which date the majority chooses. You can email Cathleen with alternate days/dates if Saturdays don’t work for you. We’ll make something work!  
 
This is a great opportunity to learn more about the League before our all-member Program Planning Meeting, which will be on Saturday, February 10. At the Program Planning meeting members provide input on what priorities you’d like your League to pursue in the next fiscal year (July 1 - June 30), wehether any of our local positions need to be updated, and whether we need to conduct research to address a current issue. We will vote on these items at the all-member Annual Meeting in late-May/June.
