The free LWV of California Education Fund (LWVCEF) Voter's Edge website is where you can find information about local candidates on your ballot, like city council candidates, school board candidates, and special district (Water, Park, Fire, etc.) candidates. The nonpartisan nonprofit MapLight provides financial information about state and federal candidates, and California propositions, but not local candidates or local measures.

All candidates on the ballot for the November 8, 2022 General Election will receive an invitation to post information about their candidacy on Voter’s Edge. The subject line will say: "Reach more voters with Voter's Edge California!" The invitation will have login and password information for that candidate. Candidates should check their spam and junk mail to make sure they don't miss the invitation. Candidates are required to post their profession and top three priorities. Candidates write about their own candidacy; they are not allowed to mention another candidate, and voters appreciate factual campaign information.

Do you know a candidate? Encourage candidates to post information on Voter’s Edge. If candidates have not received an email invitation by September 15, they should email ca-cc [at] votersedge.org.
