The Action-Advocacy Committee is dedicated to taking action to defend democracy in our community. Our members are working on issues that have become more critical in light of recent attacks on our rights and freedoms in the US Constitution. Learn about actions we are taking in collaboration with our local, state, and national partners and affiliates, and join us in our efforts!

Preliminary Agenda:
- Get informed before you vote this November! Join us for a special presentation on Proposition 45 about what the measure means and how its outcome will impact our community. Presenters: Aruna Prabhala, Senior Attorney with the Center for Biological Diversity and Rachel B Hooper, partner with Shute, Mihaly, and Weinberger.
- Join us for a discussion on the vital role and day-to-day responsibilities of the County Assessor’s office, and how its work impacts our local community.
